This week we would like to quote Doug Bacholz. “This year has shown me so many reasons why it’s great to do what I do. It is truly no longer about just good gymnastics in a good gym. It’s about teaching more than sport.” I’ve always talked about building strong confident ladies first and then gymnastics second. Now more than ever is this needed. Children need to learn how to cope with the world around them. They need to learn how to deal with stress and anxiety more than any other generation. I spent so much time in the gym this season teaching the girls about how to be responsible for THEIR gymnastics and THEIR attitudes. How important it is to treat others with respect and fight all the negativity with kindness no matter how hard.”
